The Minute Man GW-2 Nu-Concept Soil Anchor is designed to provide a strong, adjustable anchoring solution for mobile homes and manufactured homes, especially where uneven terrain can make standard anchoring more difficult.
The GW-2 features a patented elongated hole in the tension head combined with a stabilizing and compaction cap with drive rod guides. When used with a Grade 5 bolt, the anchor can rotate in multiple directions, allowing the system to adjust to uneven ground conditions and align properly with the direction of pull.
Under load, the stabilizing cap rotates downward toward the direction of tension, helping compact the surrounding soil while restricting lateral movement of the anchor. This double-compaction action is designed to improve stability and holding performance once the system is under tension.
For installation, position the cap so the drive rod guides face away from the home, then insert the required 30" drive rods and drive them to full depth into the soil. Always follow Minute Man installation instructions and verify local anchoring requirements before installation.
